Sakura Castle Town Festival

Sakura City

This festival has been held in the Sakura castle town since the Edo period. Large portable shrines and sacred sake carts are paraded around with floats and festival music—a tradition that continues to this day. The current Sakura fall festival takes place over a three-day period on the second Friday of October and following Saturday and Sunday.
