Shinsho-ji Temple Gakudo

Narita City

Erected in 1862. There are beautiful carvings of dragon and lion in the hall. This building displays votive tablets and Ema (pictorial offering tablets) dedicated by devotees, it is one of the representative buildings expressing the faith of common people. The hall contains,"Image of Danjyuro Ichikawa; 7th-generation descendant of Naritaya"and the "Giant Bronze Globe"( constructed in 1907).
